DC/DC converter

DC/DC converters are used to convert DC voltages in a system, a machine or an installation into higher or lower DC voltages. They can be found in every industrial sector in all shapes and sizes. For the lowest power levels they are most often found on PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards), but also for medium power and for high-end applications on DIN-rails. Truly any mounting method is possible. We have a wide range of DIN-rail power supplies that are specifically designed for DC/DC conversion. In addition, the majority of our AC/DC power supplies can also be used for DC/DC conversion. Often, DC/DC converters are also applied to provide an electrical isolation between the primary and the secondary side of the power supply.
