Marine & Offshore

Sea transport and offshore applications are essential in the world. World trade largely depends on shipping to transport goods.

Because of its location by the sea and with its rivers, canals and many inland waterways, the Benelux has been closely associated with shipping and offshore installations for centuries. There is an enormous amount of experience in designing and building commercial tugs, ferries, dredging and research vessels, cable layers, fishing vessels and naval vessels to recreational sailing ships and luxury yachts.

Specialists in reliability

High reliability and low maintenance costs are essential for any ship or offshore platform. This is necessary to guarantee the safety and because maintenance or replacement requires extra time and costs that go beyond the material costs of a ship sailing at sea.

That is why it is important that the equipment onboard works reliably for a long time. For years, Elipse has been supplying high-quality power solutions that, due to their specific design, are ideal for long-term operations in extreme environmental conditions. Extra attention has been paid to the EMC requirements, the temperature range, the shock & vibrations present and the specific type of approvals for shipping.
