Martin joined Elipse in 2017 as key account manager for the Northern Netherlands region. We love his Drenths accent
The future at my previous employer became very uncertain due to the digitalization of the printer sector. That is why I started to look for a new challenge. With my electronics and sales training, I absolutely wanted to continue working in the technology sector. That’s how I ended up at Elipse.
I still remember my first working week very well. The first week was mainly devoted to training and education. The best thing about this week was 4 nights in a B&B. Because I live far from the office, Elipse wanted to give me a pleasant introduction week. Every evening I was joined by one of my new colleagues. This gave me the opportunity to get to know everyone quickly and informally.
I am quite a result-driven person. What does my ideal working week look like? Preferably with enough new projects. I love that no working week is the same. Contact new customers, make agreements or think along with solutions in their field, the variation in my work gives me that extra challenge every time.
Helping the customer with my expertise, this is where I get my satisfaction. Listening is so important. When the client explains his application, I first try to fully understand what the application is for and what it is used for. Only then will I look for solutions.
You need patience and perseverance during this process. Not everything goes the way you want. For many customers, I am the face and point of contact for the company.
Helping the customer with my expertise, this is where I get my satisfaction.
I can only describe the atmosphere in the company as pleasant. Elipse makes it possible for everyone to work flexibly.
It is a growing and healthy company where there are opportunities for growth for everyone. Service orientation is established by everyone. And this is reflected in all aspects of the company.
